12th – 27th September Farnham Celebrates Great Food
We’re very pleased to be Gold Sponsors of this year Feast of Food in Farnham from 12th – 27th September, with 2 weeks of great offers and events to savour culinary delights across Farnham.
On Sunday 14th, we will be offering our exclusive Feast of Food menu, sampling some of Head Chef Jay’s favourite Autumn dishes. Choose 2 courses for just £18.50 or 3 courses for £22.95 for one day only!
The 2 week celebration will climax on Saturday 27th when Castle Street will be closed to traffic for the Food Festival, with cookery demonstrations, music, freshly cooked food, and lots to take away and enjoy later.
At 11am Head Chef Jay will also be doing a presentation that you won’t want to miss! Demonstrating a great brunch, Jay will be cooking up a delicious dish of baked haricot beans, Sussex lardons and Secrett’s cherry tomatoes served with Yorkshire black pudding, fried duck egg and sourdough bread. There’ll be free samples for you to try and recipe cards so you can recreate a great brunch at home too!
Simon Lamb, Head Chef at our sister pub The Duke of Cambridge, will also be doing a cooking demonstration at 1:15pm, showcasing great local produce with his dish of Red Mist ale soaked canon of Tilford lamb served on an English fennel, autumn butternut squash and pearl barley risotto, topped with crispy beetroot strips.
